How OLIVE YOUNG delivers beauty essentials in as little as one hour
OLIVE YOUNG’s same-day delivery service, introduced in 2018, lets customers order online and receive beauty and health essentials in as little as around one hour in eligible areas, with in-store pickup also available. Supported by stores and 27 Micro Fulfillment Centers as of August 2026, the network expanded to Jeju in July 2026, enabling same-day delivery for around 90% of local online orders.
In Korea, running out of sunscreen just before heading out or realizing that a sheet mask is needed for tonight’s skincare routine doesn’t always mean waiting a day or two for delivery. With OLIVE YOUNG’s same-day delivery service, “Oneul Deurim,”* customers can order through the OLIVE YOUNG app and have their purchases delivered on the same day.
*The name combines the Korean words “oneul,” meaning “today,” and “deurim,” a term for “giving” or “delivering.”
Traditional parcel delivery typically takes one to two days, but OLIVE YOUNG’s service brings beauty and health essentials to customers’ doorsteps much faster. Behind this convenience is a logistics network designed to bring products closer to customers, combining a nationwide store network with dedicated urban fulfillment centers.

Same-day beauty delivery, without the wait
Introduced in 2018 as Korea’s first same-day beauty delivery service, Oneul Deurim allows customers to order through OLIVE YOUNG’s online store and receive their purchases on the same day.
Orders placed between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. can arrive that day, with delivery available in as little as around one hour in eligible areas. Customers can also select a preferred delivery time slot. The service operates seven days a week, including weekends and public holidays, and delivery is free on orders of ₩30,000 or more.
The scale of the service reflects the demand for convenience. Nearly 20 million items were delivered nationwide through the service in 2025 alone.
For customers who need their purchases even sooner or are already heading out, there is another option: in-store pickup. Customers can order online, retain access to online shopping promotions and collect their purchases at a store of their choice without any delivery fees.

MFCs: The logistics hubs behind faster delivery
What makes same-day delivery possible? One key factor is the location of the products themselves. Rather than traveling from a distant warehouse, orders can be fulfilled close to the customer’s delivery address.
In its early days, the service relied on nearby OLIVE YOUNG stores, where store employees picked and packed orders for delivery. As order volumes grew, the network expanded to include Micro Fulfillment Centers (MFCs), dedicated urban logistics hubs that help meet increasing demand.
Located in urban areas, MFCs function as fulfillment centers specifically designed to support same-day delivery. They hold a wider assortment of products than individual stores and use automated systems to speed up packing and sorting.
The first MFC opened in Seoul’s Gangnam district in 2021. Since then, the network has continued to expand. As of August 2026, 27 MFCs are operating in cities across Korea, including Busan, Gwangju, Daejeon, Jeonju and Jeju.
By positioning inventory closer to customers and streamlining order processing, these facilities help turn an online purchase into a delivery that can arrive within hours.

Extending same-day delivery to Jeju
The latest milestone in the service’s expansion is Jeju Island, where geographic distance has traditionally made fast delivery more challenging.
In July 2026, OLIVE YOUNG opened MFC Jeju in Aewol, with a floor area of more than 1,650 square meters. The new facility enables same-day delivery for around 90% of online orders in the Jeju area.Previously, residents of Jeju often had to wait an average of three days or longer for deliveries. Now, customers who place orders before 4 p.m. can receive their purchases before midnight on the same day.
Another important change is the elimination of the ₩2,500 remote-area delivery surcharge for orders placed through the service. By extending its fulfillment network beyond the mainland, OLIVE YOUNG is working to reduce regional differences in delivery convenience and make shopping more accessible to customers regardless of where they live.

In a nutshell
- Same-day delivery: OLIVE YOUNG’s service launched in 2018 that offers delivery in as little as around one hour in eligible areas, alongside in-store pickup.
- MFCs: Urban fulfillment centers that bring inventory closer to customers and accelerate order processing. As of August 2026, 27 were operating nationwide.
- Expanding reach: From major metropolitan areas to Jeju, continued investment in logistics infrastructure is helping narrow the gap in delivery convenience between regions.
The next time an order arrives at the door just when it is needed, the convenience may feel a little different. Behind that quick delivery is a network of stores, fulfillment centers and logistics operations working together to make everyday beauty shopping easier.
