CJ OLIVE YOUNG is strengthening its logistics infrastructure in Jeju as part of its investment outside the Seoul metropolitan area, making it easier for local residents to shop online and receive their purchases the same day.

OLIVE YOUNG opened MFC Jeju, a 1,702-square-meter (18,320-square-foot) Micro Fulfillment Center (MFC) in Aewol-eup, Jeju, and is expanding its same-day delivery service, "Oneul Dream," across the island.

With MFC Jeju now in operation, OLIVE YOUNG can fulfill 90% of online orders from Jeju through Oneul Dream. Previously, the service was limited to areas near OLIVE YOUNG stores, which served as the primary fulfillment network. With the new MFC, the service will now reach most parts of Jeju. The facility also enables OLIVE YOUNG to hold inventory locally, expanding the range of products available for same-day delivery to approximately 11,000 items.

This means Jeju residents can save both time and delivery costs when shopping for K-beauty products. Previously, standard delivery to Jeju typically took three days or more and incurred an additional KRW 2,500 remote-area delivery fee regardless of the order amount. With the same-day delivery service, orders placed by 4 p.m. can be delivered by midnight the same day without the additional remote-area fee.

OLIVE YOUNG’s investment in Jeju’s logistics infrastructure is aimed at providing customers across Korea with a consistent level of shopping convenience. Launched in 2018 as the industry’s first same-day delivery service of its kind, Oneul Dream handled approximately 20 million deliveries nationwide last year and has become an integral part of OLIVE YOUNG’s shopping experience. In Jeju, however, annual usage had remained at around 150,000 orders despite strong demand, largely due to limitations in the local logistics infrastructure.

OLIVE YOUNG has also added a dedicated "Jeju Oneul Dream" tab to its mobile app to make shopping more convenient for Jeju residents. The new tab allows customers to browse products available for Today Dream delivery alongside popular products in Jeju, all in one place. To celebrate the launch, OLIVE YOUNG is offering a KRW 3,000 discount coupon on Today Dream products, available for purchases of KRW 15,000 or more.

Going forward, OLIVE YOUNG plans to continue upgrading its logistics infrastructure in line with growing order volumes, with the goal of making Oneul Dream available across Jeju. The company also plans to expand the number of products available through the service to approximately 16,000. In addition, OLIVE YOUNG will continue investing in the local economy through retail initiatives, including the opening of specialized stores and support for tourism development.

“Through our investment in MFC Jeju, we aim to provide Jeju residents who shop at OLIVE YOUNG with a more satisfying shopping experience and reliable same-day delivery,” said an OLIVE YOUNG representative. “We will continue to work closely with local communities and invest in regions outside the Seoul metropolitan area, including by improving shopping infrastructure.”

OLIVE YOUNG decided to introduce MFCs in 2021 to meet the surge in online orders during the pandemic and improve the service environment at its offline stores. Located in urban areas, MFCs serve as local fulfillment facilities that enable products ordered through the online store to be delivered quickly to nearby customers. Starting with its first MFC in Gangnam, Seoul, OLIVE YOUNG now operates 25 MFCs nationwide, including locations in Busan, Gwangju, Gyeongju, Daejeon and Jeonju, as well as Jeju, which opened in July 2026.
