Planned Inspection of Products With Quality Issues
To ensure compliance and customer safety, intensive inspections were conducted on "items of concern for consumer harm" to improve the online and offline labeling and safety standard compliance verification process. The company has distributed a label safety compliance guide to partners to prevent quality issues related to this.

Product Safety Verification and Incoming Inspection
The company conducts safety verifications of its private label products in partnership with external organizations. Furthermore, the company conducts approximately 10,400 multifaceted quality inspections annually on the products, covering functions, operation, leakage, drop and sensory tests, to prevent non-compliant products at the receiving stage.

To provide safe products to customers, OLIVE YOUNG performs periodic quality inspections at its stores. Through annual on-site inspections of directly managed/franchised stores, the company checks legal compliance in product cleanliness/hygiene, unfair displays, repackaging and so on, and provides notes and improvement guides as necessary.

The company provides a "Compliance Guide for Store Personnel" for regulated products, such as cosmetics, medical devices, general foods and health functional foods, to employees in the store. We are helping field employees to have a better understanding of violations and associated penalties for different products.

To keep pace with its global expansion, OLIVE YOUNG continuously monitors cosmetics regulations in key countries, including Korea, the US, the EU, and China.
We are building preemptive response systems ahead of product launches, focusing on the US and Europe, where safety standards are tightening, and we strive to provide global customers with transparent, safe product information by complying with labeling guidelines and verifying product labeling and advertising.

Online Mall Advertisement Monitoring
To prevent consumer harm from misleading advertising, OLIVE YOUNG overhauled its advertising review process in 2025.
We expanded the scope of pre-publication review for online mall product ads and operate a three-stage "screening, detection, action" monitoring system for product ads and customer reviews.
We have also strengthened regular inspections of in-store displays and plan to introduce an AI-based advertising review system to further improve verification accuracy.
