CJ OLIVE YOUNG launched the 2025 OLIVE YOUNG FESTA at Nodeul Island in Yongsan, Seoul, running May 21–25 across a record 115,000-square-foot outdoor venue. Featuring 108 brands in 84 booths and expected attendance of more than 30,000, the festival offers themed discovery zones and hands-on sessions. It also connects brands, consumers, manufacturers and 400 guests from international distributors to support K-beauty’s global expansion.

CJ OLIVE YOUNG has officially launched Korea’s largest beauty festival, the 2025 OLIVE YOUNG FESTA, taking place over five days from May 21 to 25 at Nodeul Island in Yongsan, Seoul.
In 2019, OLIVE YOUNG became the first in Korea to host a beauty festival where brands and consumers could gather to test products and exchange trend insights. Since then, the company has steadily expanded the scale and significance of the event, positioning OLIVE YOUNG FESTA as a leading K-beautytainment (beauty + entertainment) platform that represents Korea’s beauty culture.
This year’s OLIVE YOUNG FESTA breaks away from the traditional indoor format, expanding to a record-breaking 115,000-square-foot outdoor venue on Nodeul Island. Attendance is expected to exceed 30,000 visitors, more than double that of the previous event.
Lee Eun Jung, Head of OLIVE YOUNG’s Brand Creative Center, shared: “With know-how built up since 2019, we curated this year’s festival to reflect OLIVE YOUNG’s distinct brand perspective, bringing K-beauty to life through immersive experiences and meaningful brand-customer connections.” She added, “Our goal is to showcase both the present and future of K-beauty while establishing the festival as a key springboard for global expansion.”
K-Beauty Treasure Island: 108 brands across 115,000 sq ft, the largest ever
The 2025 OLIVE YOUNG FESTA transforms Nodeul Island into a K-beauty “Treasure Island,” offering playful brand discovery and hands-on experiences for all. The number of participating brands has reached an all-time high. Divided across various themed zones such as Skincare, Makeup, and Personal Care, the festival features 84 booths and a total of 108 brands. Visitors can explore everything from award-winning brands recognized in the 2024 OLIVE YOUNG Awards to emerging indie names shaping the next wave of beauty and wellness trends.
Special sessions will also be featured during the event. Skincare brand Dr.G will host a talk show with an influencer and brand representative, offering tailored insights for consumers with sensitive skin. Meanwhile, Arencia, known for its innovative cleansers, will present a hands-on “Rice Cake Soap Making” class to showcase its hero products.
Beyond a festival: A global platform for K-beauty exchange
The 2025 OLIVE YOUNG FESTA is evolving into more than a festival. It is becoming an industrial platform that connects and advances the K-beauty ecosystem. OLIVE YOUNG has invited a wide range of stakeholders, including indie brands, consumers, manufacturers, and top-tier international buyers, to foster meaningful exchanges across domestic and global markets.
As part of its commitment to brand partnership, OLIVE YOUNG introduced Future Connect, a support program designed to help partner brands expand globally through sessions like “Global K-Beauty Trend Insights.” This year, the initiative is further elevated by the attendance of 400 guests from major distributors across the U.S., Japan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia, reinforcing OLIVE YOUNG FESTA’s role as a key gateway for K-beauty’s global expansion.
