CJ OLIVE YOUNG announced on February 2 that it will launch a new promotion for Japanese customers in partnership with Don Quijote, Japan’s largest discount variety store chain. Running through March 31, the promotion offers customers who verify their Don Quijote membership at participating OLIVE YOUNG stores a KRW 4,000 discount coupon on purchases of KRW 80,000 or more, along with an OLIVE YOUNG pouch. The promotion is available at 14 stores in key shopping districts popular with international tourists, including OLIVE YOUNG N Seongsu, Myeongdong Town and Hongdae Town.

Ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday, OLIVE YOUNG has also introduced discounts in partnership with popular payment services used by Chinese customers, including Alipay, WeChat Pay and UnionPay. Through March 19, customers paying with UnionPay can receive an instant 10% discount, up to KRW 20,000, on purchases of KRW 100,000 or more at OLIVE YOUNG.

Alipay users can receive a coupon for an instant CNY 15 discount on purchases of CNY 15 or more from February 5 to 25. From February 9 through March 7, WeChat Pay users can receive discounts of CNY 20, 50 or 80 when spending CNY 200, 500 or 880, respectively. OLIVE YOUNG is also running a raffle offering CNY 188 discount coupons to customers who spend more than CNY 188.01 using WeChat Pay.

Additional discounts are available through WOWPASS, a payment platform designed for international visitors to Korea. From February 15 to 22, customers of any nationality who pay KRW 100,000 or more with WOWPASS can receive a 5% discount, up to KRW 10,000. OLIVE YOUNG is also partnering with global travel booking platform Trip.com to offer discount coupons to customers who book eligible hotels through June 30. The coupons provide KRW 5,000 off purchases of KRW 100,000 or more and KRW 30,000 off purchases of KRW 300,000 or more at OLIVE YOUNG.

Since 2025, OLIVE YOUNG has also sold mobile gift cards redeemable in Korea through global travel platforms such as Klook. In January this year, it expanded sales to e-commerce platforms in Vietnam and Japan. International tourists planning trips to Korea can purchase the gift cards in advance before departure and use them conveniently during their visits.

“More international tourists are looking to experience Korean lifestyles firsthand across a range of areas, from beauty and fashion to food,” an OLIVE YOUNG representative said. “As Korea’s leading K-beauty platform, we will continue to improve the convenience and benefits available to international visitors shopping at OLIVE YOUNG.”
